MotoGp Poll: Grand Prix of China
Last Sunday the second place for Elias was spectacular and totally unexpected, as matter of the fact his name was not listed as one of the first seven in the World Championship Standing. In China, next week it’s going to be even more difficult for the characteristic of the circuit with two long straights, one of which measure ¾ of a mile, the longest in the MotoGp calendar. Stoner and Capirossi are the favorite with their red Italian missile, but the resurgence of the Team Gresini with Elias and Melandri on improving Honda, could challenge the possibilities for the other contenders, Rossi, Pedrosa, Edwards and Hayden to get on the podium. Stoner has accumulated 10 points of advantage on Rossi and 25 on Pedrosa, he feels strong and absolutely not pressured by Rossi. It’s Rossi that has to prove that he is still the best, while Stoner has already done even more that his team was expecting from him. Anyhow, who is going to stand on the second step of the podium in China?

as reported by motograndprix.it Michelin is going to produce new tires to satisfy Rossi's specifications and avoid another debacle as in Istanbul ... Something is telling me that is going to be rough in China: forget about tires ...in that circuit they will need wings to beat the red missile Ducati-Bridgestone-Stoner!
Michelin tires and speed ...These are the two critical variables to be sorted by the FIAT-Yamaha team for the next weekend. Rossi is well aware of the Ducati's advantage on this track, as matter of the fact he thinks that they are going to split the famous long straight in two lanes: one for the Ducati and the other one for every body else!
I don't know about that Special Michelin Tires for Vale they need to dig in and find some horse power if they want to stay on Top !!!!!! Lets wait and see !!!
Ciao

Michelin will need tyres with rockets glued onto them if they are going to help Rossi.
It will be interesting to see just how fast the Ducati bikes will go compared to the old 990cc machines.
After the last 3rd place, Capirossi feels more confident about the future. Unfortunately I have been not able to find objective reasons for his poor start of the season ... Maybe the recent fatherhood? Or the A-STONER-SHING performance of his teammate? Could a competitive Capirossi become an involuntary help to Rossi to contain the young Aussie? I wouldn't be surprised after seeing Pedrosa and Hayden at work last year.
I did some rough calculations and if I am not wrong, there will be around 3 seconds advantage in each lap for the ducatis. Calaculating their speed difference. What means by the end of the race there will be around 1 minute gain overall. It will be very interesting.
Sleepy ;)
on't use that calculator for your income taxes ... the IRS would be on your back for the rest of your life!!! TOday Vale gave Stoner almost 1.5 sec!!!! If in the race Michelin doesn't provide Rossi with some chinese donuts like last year, my italian bikes will have rough time to match his entrance speed on the corners.
I don't pay tax :):):)
I meant if everybody is on the same level and their cornerspeed is the same, this would be the formula. ;)
Sleepy
a few hours to go .... I am setting up the alarm and the moka machine for tomorrow morning. I hope to watch a great show, with a lot of battling until the last lap.
Ciao belliiiiiiiiiii,
sleepy along with 46% of the people that have voted im the PMP poll were right: today Rossi took the second place with a good combination of bike-tires but not enough to match the Ducati's top speed. Stoner has his third Gp of the season.
I am going to sleep ... sleepy:)
